Uploading Files

It's easy to get your files to CatPrint.  You can upload PDF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, or GIF files.  After uploading is complete, our system automatically converts your file to the industry standard PDF format and provides you with a low resolution thumbnail.

We provide five methods for you to transfer your file to us, depending on where the file is being stored:

Files Stored On Your Computer

Browser Upload:
This is the fastest and easiest way to transfer your files.  Click the "Upload from My Computer" button on the main order screen and choose a file on your computer.  You will then see an upload progress bar and when the file finishes loading you can adjust it using the proof and crop tool.

Send via Email:
You may send us files via email if you prefer.  When you click "Add Job to Cart," our site will ask you if you want to continue without a file.  Confirm your selection and you will be taken to the checkout screen.  Once you finish your order and checkout, you will be given a job number.  Send an email to support@catprint.com referencing this job number.  However, we will not start processing your job until all files have been received and this will delay your guaranteed delivery date.

Send via physical media:
If you have a slow internet connection, you may prefer to send us a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive with your files.  When you click "Add Job to Cart," our site will ask you if you want to continue without a file.  Confirm your selection and you will be taken to the checkout screen.  Once you finish your order and checkout, you will be given a job number. Include this job number with any physical media you send us.  If you want your CD, DVD, or USB flash drive returned to you, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage.  We will not start processing your job until all files have been received, and this will delay your guaranteed delivery date.

Physical media should be sent to:

Files Stored on the Internet

Web Link:
If you have files stored on a website, just click the "Transfer from a Website" button on the main order page.  You will be asked to provide the address of the files (the address should look something like "http://www.example.com/myfiles/file.pdf").  Our system will fetch your files and when they finish loading you can edit them on the proof and crop screen.

Please note that we can only accept files that you own digital and print rights to.  You cannot, for example, use Google Image search and ask us to print an image file you found that belongs to someone else.

FTP Link:
If you have files stored on an FTP site, just click the "Transfer from an FTP Site" button on the main order page.  You will be asked to provide the address of the files (the address should look something like "ftp://ftp.example.com/myfiles/file.pdf").  You will also be asked to provide the login and password if your FTP site requires them.  Our system will fetch your files and when they finish loading you can edit them on the proof and crop screen.

We've tried to make the process of getting your files to us fast and easy. If you have any questions, please call or email customer support.
