Hard Copy Proofs

To ensure that you get your prints done correctly, CatPrint offers free hard copy proofs.  If you want to order a large amount of prints but want to make sure your product looks good first, this is the perfect option for you.  To take advantage of this service, simply check the "free hard-copy proof" option on the checkout page.  We will mail you one copy of your order on an "as soon as possible" basis (usually same-day shipping and takes about 3-4 days for you to receive them).  If you need to receive your proofs quicker than 3-4 days, we offer overnight delivery for a flat rate of $40.  Please contact customer service for more information. 

The first proof is free of charge - any additional proofs after that are $10.

Once you have approved your proof, we will be able to begin production on your job.  If you would like alter your order after seeing your proof, please contact us at suppport@catprint.com with a reference to your order number. 

 

Some things to check for while proofing your image:

  1. Check that all your text is displaying correctly.  If it's not, check the settings on your PDF creation utility and make sure that you are embedding fonts in the PDF.
  2. If you are using advanced drawing features in your word processor or drawing program, please check that these will be printed correctly.
  3. Of course, please check your spelling, phone numbers, web links, and email addresses.
  4. Check to make sure that you have the correct margins.  For standard (no-bleed) documents you should have a 1/8" white space on all margins.  For full bleed documents see the full bleed help information for more details.
  5. Check to make sure that the "Flip Style" parameter is correct.
  6. Check to make sure you have uploaded all your pages.
