Design Templates: Working in Photoshop

1. Download a Design Template

Design templates to help you setup your files can be found here. If you do not see a design template for the job you would like to create, please contact us.

2. Create a New Layer

Open the template file in Photoshop and create a new layer on top of the design template layer for your artwork.

3. Delete the Template Layer

Once you have completed your artwork and are sure your files are set up correctly, delete the layer that includes the template. Be sure that you haven't accidentally placed any artwork in this layer, or it could be lost.

4. Flatten Your Artwork

Flatten your file before saving artwork and submitting.

*As a reminder, it is often good practice to also save a "layered" copy (PSD file) of your artwork just in case you need to go back and make any changes.*

5. Save Your File

Save your file in PDF format.
